hey these are my new neices (and Christy, my sis in law). Tenesae is the older one in front, she is 3 1/2, and Ayrian is the little one, and she will be 2 in a couple weeks. They are so cute and beautiful!! I am sure everyone would agree.

well. it's me

so yah, Surrey it is. I'm enjoying it so far, although i'm having a hard time keeping myself busy. I'm a nanny in White Rock 3 days a week. so the rest of the week is a bit of a challenge. I work Mon, Thurs, and Friday but this week because of Thanksgiving I had Monday off.. so I had almost an entire week off! it's nice but boring at the same time. aw well. I've seen a couple friends, running into them accidentally at Value Village. crazy, but nice to see familiar faces.
anyhow, I work tomorrow again...looking forward to it.

such big news

this is my big news... I have 2 new neices!!! they are still in Ethiopia, but hey, now we know their names and know that they are coming. Tenesia is gonna be 3 on Sunday, and Arianna is 1 1/2.
Exciting stuff. it'll prolly be 4-5 months yet til Brad and Christy will actually get them. I'm so pumped, especailly cause I'm gonna be living out there. yayers!!!!

What a summer it was

So, it's about that time again. This summer has been crazy fun! late nights and early risings, weddings and celebrations, sing a long's and settlers, roasting weins, playing tennis, watching Ever After(quoting the entire movie), Sailing the open...lake. Commando Pimpela!! sunsets, Soccer, Vbal!! We've done it all. Soon, everyone will be off in their different directions; some have already gone. It's an adventure I tell ya!! my turn to head out is quickly approaching too. Beautiful British Columbia they say?? well i think i just might agree. we'll know soon enough.

no good reason not to.

so after one awesome lunch date with Trixie, I suddenly find myself heading back to Kings. I don't how she did it, but somehow, she got this idea in my head. My initial plan for the fall was to head to Surrey, BC, work there, live with Brad and Christy and just try something new. The plan now: back to Kings for 4 years or so (AH!) and be a teacher. I'm looking forward to the teacher part, not the next 4 years. This plan has probably always been there, in the back of my head, and I've just been postponing it as long as possible. Now I figured I have no reason not to do it. I know my logic is a bit messed, but it seems to work for me. The tricky part now: finding a place to live. Maybe I'll live with Justine. twould be a good time. I guess we'll just have to see what happens.
